Everyone has their off days – even Hollywood actresses.

Liv Tyler was pictured yesterday outside Grand Central Station in New York City looking decidedly frumpy and mumsy in a brightly patterned dress.

The 33-year-old actress had no make-up on as she laughed with a friend and snacked on a bag of Cheetos crisps.

Tyler’s dress was unflattering to say the least, doing nothing to show off her figure, which she fought hard to regain after the birth of her son, Milo nearly six years ago.

Today though there was quite a transformation as the Incredible Hulk star took Milo along for a shopping trip in down town New York.

Tyler was wearing some short black shorts over opaque leggings which showed off her shapely toned legs perfectly.

Her hair was pulled back into a simple bun and she wore a pair of black ray ban sunglasses.

Tyler’s face looked beautiful with just a hint of make-up and some pink lipstick in place.
