How does it feel to be the face of G-STAR for this year’s A/W collection?
I feel really lucky, we just watched a rehearsal of the show downstairs, I was sitting in the theatre by myself and it was empty and I just had this overwhelming feeling of being lucky to be here an to be part of it. It’s nice because you see a lot of high fashion and then a lot of accessories and things you collect but it was so nice to see the collection because it has such a specific look and not necessarily high fashion which I liked a lot – it was very cool.

How was shooting the campaign?
I like Anton Corbijn a lot. I worked with him once when I was 17, we did some crazy pictures for a German magazine called Stern, he also made the movie ‘Control’ which is very cool, you would like it a lot, it’s a black and white movie about Joy Division, anyway, I love shooting with him.

What do you like about G-STAR?
Everything. I like that you think of jeans but they have a whole little world they have in Holland and they are very passionate about what they do. it’s not just about jeans or selling clothing it’s a sort of philosophy and a way of life, I think it’s really cool and I like it. Using the raw fabrics, very strong. What I’m secretly obsessed with, when I go to the show room, is they have all these hats, these amazing Winter hats. I have one in the other room. Whenever I go to the showroom I walk out with all these scarves and hats.

What do you expect from this year’s collection?
I just watched the rehearsal and one of things I really liked were the colors, I wasn’t expecting that. And the ‘all in ones’, like the guy wears at the gas station? They’re one of my favorite things to wear.

Have you been to Tokyo?
Yeah, I’ve been there for movie promotions a few times, I really love Tokyo, it’s a fun city. There’s so much snow in New York right now – I’ve haven’t experienced snowy Tokyo yet.

I’ve just added the set of high quality scans from Liv’s March cover edition on ELLE UK, courtesy of the original scanner. The article and interview is a really nice read, despite being a little too short for my taste although I guess I can just never get enough of Liv! Click the thumbnails or link below to take a look.

007: ELLE UK March Edition

I’ve added to the gallery a much clearer image of Liv’s ELLE UK March cover. For those of you in the UK, Liv’s edition of ELLE goes on retail tomorrow. Also, another small snippet of the interview with Liv has made its way onto the internet, in which she talks about Milo.

Nothing compares to spending time with her all time BFF: 5-year-old son Milo, whose recent birthday bash she cites as the best party ever, and what sounds like the most fun fitness routine ever: “Jumping on a bouncy castle has got to be the best exercise!”

I’m sure you’ll know by now that Liv will be appearing in the March edition of ELLE and two preview photos have surfaced as well as a snippet of the interview courtesy of Telegraph.

“Before I die I want to live on a farm with chickens, a vegetable garden and a John Deere tractor,” said Tyler, referring to the agricultural equipment manufacturer.

She hopes to find a country home similar to that owned by her friend, Stella McCartney, the fashion designer who rears sheep and grows organic vegetables at her Georgian pile in in Gloucestershire.

The McCartney home is Tyler’s favourite place to relax, she told Elle magazine. “A great night in? Stella McCartney’s house in the country. Once our kids are asleep it’s ‘grab the wine’ and take turns to talk boys and husbands.”

Tyler, 32, the daughter of Aerosmith singer Steve Tyler, moved to Los Angeles in 2008 after separating from her British husband, Royston Langdon, a musician. They have a five-year-old son, Milo.

Langdon was born and brought up in Leeds, and Tyler enthusiastically embraced Yorkshire life when the couple married. Locals were amazed to spot her drinking in the local working men’s club in the suburb of Headingley and shopping in Safeway.

She remains a committed Anglophile and counts Kate Moss among her closest friends. She described the supermodel as “the most stylish person I know. I love playing dress-up with her and her closet.”

"Subtlety is my favourite thing in cinema. It lets you dream. When everything is on the nail and on show, it leaves no questions in your mind. I find that so boring."
